Session Road is the commercial center of Baguio City and its main thoroughfare. It is called 'Session Road' because it used to lead up to the old Baden-Powell Hall where the Philippine Commission held its first session. Session Road is lined with establishments serving Baguio's best delicacies. It is also a haven of bazaars, shops, diners, restaurants, department stores, and movie theaters.

It is divided into two parts--Upper Session Road and Lower Session Road, although it isn't called this way anymore because the citizens of Baguio City simply call it 'Session Road'.

Session Road is sometimes congested with motor vehicles that are owned by private  individuals and vehicles used for public transportation since it is the most direct route to anywhere in Baguio City.
